St. Anne Line Catholic Junior School is larger than the average-sized junior school, and we are part of the Brentwood Catholic Diocese. Pupils from minority ethnic groups make up more than half of our school’s population, with an increasing number of pupils whose first language is other than English – about a third of the pupils speak English as an additional language. St. Anne Line Catholic Junior School is proud and celebrates its diversity.
We were last inspected by Ofsted in November 2017 and achieved the overall status of Good with Outstanding features. In 2018, the school also achieved the status of Outstanding in the Section 48 Diocesan Inspection of RE and Spiritual life.
Our school has proudly gained the Rights Respecting Schools Award, its 5th Quality Mark and Outstanding Performance 10 Year Award, and is also an RHS Flagship school for Environmental and Gardening in Schools. Our school endeavours to deliver an inspiring curriculum, with unique learning opportunities for children to take part in, such as our own School Radio, Rock Band and Chamber Choir, whole class ukulele lessons and so much more. We are a nurturing school and have our own nurture centre called ‘The Bee Hive’, where children with SEMH needs are supported to be fully re-integrated into the classroom.
