What is Sports Premium funding?
The government has provided funding of £150 million (per annum) over the previous two academic years to provide high quality curricular and extra-curricular sporting provision. St. Anne Line RC Junior School has received £9000 per annum for each of the previous two school years, with this money being spent solely on sport and P.E. provision at the school; at the school, we recognise the contribution of PE to the health and well-being of all of our pupils. We believe that an innovative and inclusive PE curriculum, complimented with a varied range of extra-curricular opportunities, has a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of our children.
